Our Rules
Vaccinations Required for Boarding Medication & Special Food Due to the fact that most dogs and cats are on special diets, we do not supply their food during their stay. We ask that you bring your pet's food and put in writing the exact amount of food that your pet will be receiving daily. We will provide the bowls for food and water. The reason that we do not supply the food for your dog is because many dogs are on special diets and by changing their diet, it can give them an upset stomach. There will be a charge for each day that your pet is with us here at Hidden Acres. For example: If you check your pet in on Monday at 5pm and check your pet out on Tuesday at 9am, there will be a charge for 2 days on your bill. This eliminates any issues over time frames of drop off and pick up. Payment There will be a charge for each day that your pet is with us here at Hidden Acres. For example: If you check your pet checks in on Monday at 5pm and you check your pet out on Tuesday at 9am, there will be a charge for 2 days on your bill. We put ALOT of time, energy and love into our guests here at Hidden Acres. Our days begin at 6:30am and do not end until 8:30pm. So this is the reason for this policy.
All medication needs to be in the original containers and include the following information:
Cats
We will supply the kitty litter and the litter box for your cat during their visit with us. If you would like to bring your own brand of Kitty Litter, you may do so. We will always keep the cats separate from the dogs. This will help to keep your kitty calm and safe during it's visit with us.
Drop off and Pick up Times
We will always try to be very obliging on your pets pick up and drop off times. However due to our business being run from our home, we have established drop off and pick up times.
Our kennel hours:
Monday - Friday 9:15am – 5:00 pm
(with a lunch break from 2:45 – 3:45 which we will not be open to the public during that hour)
Saturday 9:15am-12pm
Sunday - 3:00pm - 4:00pm (All Sunday checkouts will receive a charge for that day)
We will try to have your pet ready when you arrive with the least amount of stress possible for you and your pet. Since we give your dog a complimentary bath before they leave us, we ask that you please call us 2 hours prior to arriving. There may be times when a bath is not possible, but we will always strive to make this a priority.
Bedding & Toys
We will provide bedding, however, if you have a special bed, blanket or toy that you would like to bring, please feel free to do so. You may also bring any special comfort items. This will make your pet feel more at home during their stay.

Playtime
Your pet will receive a lot of play time during the day. They will be taken outside every 2-3 hours for outside exercise in our play yards. Play time will be approximately 20-30 minutes each time (sometimes even longer) weather permitting. Your pet will always be supervised by someone on our staff while they are outdoors. We will never leave your pet unattended outside for any reason.
Doggie Day Care
We will provide doggie day care for $10 per day. This service does not include an overnight stay. However, you will need the proper vaccination records in order for your pet to stay for the day. Again, safety for your pet and other pets is first on our list of priorities.
Our Rates
At this time we can only accept cash or check as payment. Cash is preferred if possible.
We will be open for Thanksgiving and for Christmas reservations. We would love to care for your pet during the holidays! Due to so many needing reservations for the holidays it is possible that there may be a waiting list. If you currently have a reservation and you need to cancel please call us as soon a possible. We would like to ask for one week notice if at all possible. However if you fail to cancel within 24 hours of your check-in date you will be responsible for a 50% charge of the total boarding time scheduled in our records. Example: If you are scheduled to be with us for 5 days @ $16.00 per day which would be $80.00 total boarding fee, you will be responsible to pay Hidden Acres Country Boarding Kennel $40.00 in cancellation fees. Due to our extreme care that we give to each pet and the fact that our kennel is smaller than most,we fill up extremely fast on the holidays. Therefore we have to start turning people down very early into the season. If a customer fails to show or cancels it is a loss for us and for others who wanted to board with us. This is the reason for this policy. Our cancellation policy is the same all year through. Not just for holidays.
